Qatar Foundation for Social Work graduated 122 male and female employees from the "Basmati" leadership training program.

In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Kuwari, CEO of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, and Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Kuwari, Director General of the Qatar Leadership Center, the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, which operates under the oversight and supervision of the Ministry of Social Development and the Family, graduated 122 male and female employees working in the Foundation and its affiliated centers from the leadership training program "Basmati", which was implemented by the Qatar Leadership Center with the aim of enhancing their leadership capabilities and developing their personal and professional potential through the institutional leadership programs provided by the center. The program, which was presented to the Foundation's employees and centers, targeted employees working in civil society organizations with the aim of enhancing their national talents through specialized  training units, training and executive guidance, according to the needs of the Foundation. On this occasion, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Kuwari, Director General of Qatar Leadership Center, expressed the importance of investing in human resources and developing leadership and executive skills. Institutional programs such as the leadership training program "Basmati", which was implemented in cooperation with the Qatari Foundation for Social Work, contributed to finding innovative solutions to the most important challenges of administrative work, teamwork skills, and the latest developments in the field of leadership, strategy, creative thinking, change management and decision-making, as the institutional programs at the Qatar Leadership Center, which were launched in 2014, are a unique platform for teaching leadership to government and public sector institutions to enhance institutional performance and the administrative competencies of national leaders. Mrs. Noor Al-Ali, Director of the Basmati Program from the Foundation, explained that the program is a leadership training program that was presented to senior employees in the Foundation and the centers under its umbrella (for employees of 11th grade and above), in cooperation with the Qatar Leadership Center, noting that the program lasted for three years, and Al-Ali said: the program was launched in September 2019 and ended in February 2022. The "Basmati Program" included 4 intensive leadership training programs that were provided to 122 male and female employees. Whereas the first program included strengthening the culture of the Foundation and simulating the spirit of the value system, the second program dealt with self-management and development, the third program contained topics such as work team management and the fourth program concluded on the Foundation management.

His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Kuwari, CEO of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, welcomed the attendees, and in his speech on this occasion, said His Excellency, I stand today with feelings of pride and pride in the graduation of the 2019-2022 batch of employees of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work and its affiliated centers from the leadership training program "Basmati", supervised and presented Qatar Leadership Center as the national platform for excellence in the field of leadership, where this program was launched with the aim of developing high-level leadership and administrative talents and skills among our employees who hold executive positions in the institution and centers, and this program was implemented for 122 graduates from the institution and centers employees for a period ranging to 3 Years. In his speech to the graduates, he said, "We are proud today of you and the practical and administrative skills you have acquired, and the achievements that each of you has achieved. All of this is thanks to God and His grace, and today we celebrate reaping the fruits of our toil and effort." He concluded his speech by congratulating the graduates, wishing them further progress and success.​
